Mini Tag Punch Album Tutorial w/ Cynthia
Good morning, Cynthia here with Ink a Doodle Creations. Today I want to share this cute little tag punch album my club ladies made last month. A few of you may have seen this idea around already. Its not my original idea, but I love it cause its super easy to make and could be used in so many different ways. I'm thinking for grandparents, uncle or aunts who don't live close, school pictures, or a cute baby brag book. Its small enough to fit nicely in a handbag to show off those photos you love to share. So lets get started.....
Here is the cute Halloween themed one we made for club. We used Freaky Friends and the Motley Monsters DSP.
Start with a piece of cardstock in your choice of color and cut it to 8-1/4" x 8-1/4".
Score on one side at 4-1/8".
Rotate cardstock and score two more lines, 2-3/4" and 5-1/2".
I hope you can see the colors ok in my picture. I couldn't get rid of the shadow. Where you see red (place redline adhesive here). Where you see a blue dotted line (cut) and where you see a solid black line (score). Go ahead and use a bone folder and crease those lines good and fold up.
DO NOT REMOVE THE REDLINE UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE READY TO ADHERE DOWN! Fold it in half on the 4-1/8" line so that the redline in on the outside. This shows it folded in half already.
Now it doesn't matter which side you start with, but in this photo, I folder the right side over. At this point you can remove just this side of the redline and adhere it down. Make sure everything is straight.
Now remove the left sides redline and fold it under. You are creating a mountain valley fold.
Once you have both sides glued down, you will see that it opens like a book now and you have two pockets. I used 1-3/8" circle punch and punch each pocket half way to make a pocket tab.
Cut two pieces of cardstock to measure: 2" x 4". These will be the pocket inserts where you can decorate and do your journaling on.
This is what it looks like when the tags are inserted.
If you want your album to tie shut like I have mine, cut a piece of ribbon to about 16-18" and wrap around and tie shut. The front piece of ribbon slides under the frame so its not going anywhere. Depending how you decorate yours, you may want to secure the ribbon to the back or front with some adhesive.
I hope you have enjoyed my project for today. I hope it INKspires you to go create one on your own. Have fun and keep creating!

Heat & Stick Powder + Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with Seasonally Scattered
Hi Stampers! Heidi at Stuck on Stampin' here today to share with you a picture tutorial of how to create a dazzling effect to your cards using Heat & Stick Powder with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I thought I would start out with an up close view of the image that I used this technique with (from the set Seasonally Scattered). I tried to get in as close I could without it being super blurry. This is one of those techniques where it is even more amazing in real life.
You will need:
You will need:
Versamark
Your choice of ink
Sponge Daubers (if you are going to use more than one color)
Stamp
Heating Tool (oops...not pictured!)
Whisper White cardstock
Ink your stamp using Versamark. This helps make the stamp extra "sticky".
Using the lightest color, ink your stamp over Versamark.
Using sponge daubers, daub different colors of ink on the rubber image.
Sprinkle stamped image with Heat & Stick Powder. Shake off excess.
Using a Heat Tool, heat the image with powder until it just turns glossy (don't overheat!). The powder will turn into glue.
Immediately after, sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds Glitter over the stamped image. Shake off excess.
Heat it again to set it.
I really wish I could photograph the sparkle better!

We Like To Move It, Move It
Today we are showcasing the Pull Tab Slider Card! This fun technique will give a little animation to your card that the recipient will LOVE!
Here is what you will need to complete this technique:
*Word Window Punch
*Circle Punch (or other) to create pull tab
*Dimensionals
*Stamps, Ink and Cardstock
Step 1: Cut a piece of cardstock for the mat on your card front.
Step 2: Use the Word Window Punch over and over to create your slider slot.
Step 3: Cut piece of cardstock that will go inside your card. This is the piece that you will adhere the image you want to slide to! Use a circle punch to create a pull tab on the end.
Step 4: Adhere your card front mat to the card base with dimensionals. Make sure you have the slider piece on the inside!
Step 5: Adhere your slider object to the dimensionals. Pull the circle tab and try out your card!

Techniques for Tuesday
Hi! Darcy here from Dj's Stampin' Place
with a fun technique called Folded Frame. I think it looks really cool,
and is SO much easier to make than it looks! First up, the tutorial!
For your frame, you will start with a 4-1/4" X 4-1/4" square piece of double-sided scrapbook paper. One of the reasons that I love Stampin' Up!'s Designer Series Paper is that it is two-sided and it coordinates!
Grab your Simply Scored Tool and the Diagonal Scoring Plate. You will score each side at 2-1/8" and 2-7/8". I used my markers to remind me, so I didn't have to think about it every time I turned the paper.
Next you will fold inward on the "deepest" score line. You will want to use your Bone Folder to really crease those folds.
Then fold backwards on the other score lines. Be sure to use the Bone Folder on these too.
To hold the frame together and give it some dimension, I put a Stampin' Dimensional under each flap. This part is harder to explain, so the picture helps alot. Make sure to do both of them all on four sides, too.
Your folded frame is complete! I wanted more of the Pool Party pattern to show through around my image, similar to a mat, so I went ahead and glued all my flaps down. If you wanted to use a larger stamped image, you will want to wait to secure your inner pieces until you've glued it down.
Here is my finished card:
Thanks for stopping by today! You can visit my personal blog to find out about the other techniques used on this card, and a full list of supplies. Also, you won't want to miss out on the Easter treats some of the ladies will have for you here tomorrow!

Quick & Easy Gift Card Holder
Hi! Darcy here from Dj's Stampin' Place. Today I created a gift card holder that is quick to make and saves you from having to say, "here's a gift card;" while just handing them a piece of plastic.
Do you want to see the inside?
I'm making these for college students, so I wanted to keep it simple, and not too time consuming because I'm certain the only important piece to them is the actual gift card! I felt that Gorgeous Grunge was the perfect stamp set to use as a background. I did some tone-on-tone stamping with the Tangerine Tango ink. I left the spot next to the thank you stamp blank so I could sign my name.
I created a tutorial, so you can create these as well. You will want to start with a 4-1/4" x 8-1/4" piece of cardstock. Score it at 1-3/8", 2-3/4", and 5-1/2".
After I scored it, I flipped it to the backside, and lined my gift card up along the 1-3/8" score line. I used a pen to mark the edges of the gift card, so I would know where to cut the slit. I then placed the score line along the groove of my paper trimmer, and lined the cutting blade up with the first pen mark and carefully cut down to my other pen mark.
Next I put sticky strip along the very bottom and edges of this flap to glue it together. The reason I put it along the edges was to make sure my gift card would have room to slip inside.
Here is a side view once I glued the flap down.
The great thing about these is that you can make them as clean and simple, or as embellished as you want. They would look great with Designer Series paper layered on them as well!
Thanks for stopping in today for your daily dose of INKspiration. Now, if you'd like to win some BLOG CANDY, head over to my personal blog to find out how! There will also be a complete list of supplies used over there.

Rainbow Brights
Hello! this is Shellie from Craft Smashup. I know many of you are wishing for warmer weather and maybe sunnier days and that inspired me to create something colorful and bright for my post today. What is more colorful than a rainbow? Not much :)
Most, if not all of us have seen the masking tape technique that I used on this card. I couldn't think of anything more perfect to make the rainbow stripes for the background of this card. It's so easy to do and in the case of this card packs a lot of punch. Because of the colorful background it didn't need a lot to finish it so I used markers to ink the sentiment to mimic the background. A little touch of ribbon and some bling and there you have it, a bright (and happy) card.
I hope you have a bright and beautiful day. Happy Stamping!
Shellie
The technique that I developed here I call Faux Enamel. It was inspired by some enameled jewelry pieces I saw awhile back. Faberge Eggs are also enameled. I was hoping to have a tutorial written to share with you all but I ran out of time. I'm hoping to be able to pull together a tutorial with pictures over the weekend. You will be able to check it out on my blog sometime next week.
The supplies you will need for the Faux Enamel Technique are:
Re-inkers, Silver or Gold encore Ink (or Versamark), Crystal Effects, Heat tool. Embossing folder with an enclosed design.
I hope you have a bright and beautiful day. Happy Stamping!

Four Pocket Folder
Good
Tuesday morning, Cynthia here from Ink A Doodle Creations! I am excited
to be sharing a special project for you today with Stylin' Stampin'
INKspiration!
My
new stamp club started this month and one of the fun things I wanted to
do for each of my members was to make a cute holder so it could hold
some info. about the club. I also wanted it sized to go inside of a
handbag. Below is the finished project that I created. I call it a "4
Way Pocket Folder!" I am so laughing right now, cause if you knew the
inside joke about me trying to come up with a name for this project,
you'd be laughing right now with me, Bahaha, LOL!!!
The outside all close up...
but
when its opened, this is what you see. I have inside a thank you for
joining note with details about the club, their new reward club card,
four "wish list" sheets and a schedule of when all our club dates are
for the whole year.
Now
I made this for my club members, but this project could be used in
other ways. I had made one of these last year and gave it to my
mother-in-law. Inside I mounted 4 different photos of my kids/family.
She keeps it in her handbag as her "grandkid brag book"!!
Follow the simple instructions below, to create one of your own.
Cut a piece of DSP to measure 6" x 12".
Score at 3", 6" and 9".
Rotate your DSP and score at 2"
Once
you have decided on what side will be the inside, fold up the 2" scored
section. This will then give you four pockets to slide things inside
of. I folded down each end corner to form a triangle. That's it, your
done! Now decorate the inside and outside as you wish. I also created a
belly band to slide over once it was folded shut.
I hope you have enjoyed my project and will go create one of your own!
Supplies Used:
DSP: Sweet Sorbet
Stamp Set: Petal Parade
Cardstock: pool party, summer starfruit, whisper white, crisp cantaloupe, black
Ink: summer starfruit, pool party
Punches: scalloped circle, 1-1/4" and a 1-3/8" circle punch

Envelope Punch Board Treat Box
Hi! Darcy here from Dj's Stampin' Place. Thanks for joining me today! I hope you've had a wonderful holiday
season and survived the hustle and the bustle. I've got a little treat
for you today, that will work perfectly for New Years! As a special
gift, I've created a photo tutorial for you.
Your box is now assembled! The middle picture shows an inside view of my box. I tucked in the smaller two flaps. I decided to leave on flap standing up, and folded the front flap down and held it there with a glue dot.
You can embellish it however you choose.
Remember those triangle pieces I cut off the sides earlier? I punched two flowers with the Blossom Punch. I then stamped the "celebrate" greeting from Express Yourself in Basic Black ink on the pink side of one of those triangles. I punched it out with the Hexagon Punch. I layered everything together with some Stampin' Dimensionals to finish my box.
The box is sturdy enough that it will stand upright on its own, even with a package of microwave popcorn in it!
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial. I'd love to see how you use it to create your own treat boxes. If you would like to see a video tutorial, and how it can be turned into a bag, click here. This is where I got my inspiration for the the project.

This
sturdy box can be filled with treats and used as a hostess gift for a
New Years party you're attending. Perhaps you're leaving the kids at
home with a sitter. Fill it with popcorn, candy and other movie treats
for their own celebration!
Let's get down to the nitty gritty! (Remember you can click on the pictures for a larger view)
I
love that Stampin' Up Designer Series Paper is double-sided. It really
adds to projects like this where you will see the inside and outside.
This DSP is a sneak peek of the Kaleidoscope package available in the
upcoming Occasions Catalog. The sales period for this catalog begins
January 3rd.
1) Line the paper up at 1-1/2". Punch and score.
2) Rotate paper 90 degrees.
3) Line up second side at 3". Punch and score.
4) Rotate paper 90 degrees.
5) Line up third side at 1-1/2". Punch and score.
6) Rotate paper 90 degrees.
7) Line up last side at 3". Punch and score.
***Note***
Be careful as you are scoring. You want to just score to the edge of
the board. If you move down the score line too quickly, you can slip off
the corner of the board and rip your paper; as you will see in later
pictures.
8) Flip the paper over.
9) Repeat steps 1-7. Your new score lines will meet your old score lines in the middle of the sheet.
This is what your paper should look like at this point:
10) Use the corner rounder on the corners of the wider sections.
11) To make the box flaps, line each score mark up with the "tail" and score across the flap; as in the second picture.
12)
Use your scissors to cut on the score marks on the wider sides. Only
cut up to the score line in the middle that runs perpendicular to it.
13)
On the sides with the narrower section, trim off a large part of the
section. Make sure to leave enough room on either side of the score line
to make a flap. (This will make more sense in step 15.)
This is what your project should currently look like:
14)
Fold along all of your score lines. It's really not necessary to use a
bone folder; just a crisp crease with your finger will do.
15) Apply Sticky Strip to each of the four flaps you created in step 13. This is what will hold your box together.
16) Remove the red backing from the Sticky Strip on two flaps. Carefully line up the edges with the larger sides of the box.
Here is a view after one side was glued together:
17) Repeat step 16 for the other two flaps with Sticky Strip on them.
Your box is now assembled! The middle picture shows an inside view of my box. I tucked in the smaller two flaps. I decided to leave on flap standing up, and folded the front flap down and held it there with a glue dot.
You can embellish it however you choose.
