Tape Technique with Tonya

Hello and welcome to SSINKspiration! This is Tonya and I have a fun technique to share with you today! It uses tape and our stamp pads to create the fun backgrounds that I have to share with you today. In the first card I used Duct tape torn in various widths to created the striped background. The colors are Cherry Cobbler, Baked Brown Sugar and Gumball Green. You can see that the texture is just a bit different is this sample than the one below.
For my second card I decided to attempt a plaid background using only two colors and the our Washi Tape. The ink is picked up with the sticky side of the tape and then set onto the card stock and after lightly rubbing it you pick the tape back up and the ink design is left behind. The colors for the second card are Cajun Craze and Chocolate Chip. Both cards us the Tags 4 You Stamp Set and the Bracket Label Punch. Additional supplies are listed below.
Christmas Card: Whisper White Card Stock, Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock, Chevron Punch, Modern Label Punch, Basic Pearls, Cherry Cobbler Stamp Pad, Baked Brown Sugar Stamp Pad, Gumball Green Stamp Pad.
Thanksgiving Card: Crumb Cake Card Stock, Chocolate chip Card Stock, Cajun Craze Card stock, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing folder, Crumb Cake Seam Binding, Cajun Craze Stamp Pad, and Chocolate Chip Stamp Pad.
