Technique Tuesday: Blendabilities

You have probably seen Blendabilties Markers being used by Stampin' Up! Demonstrators by now.  Or you have at least seen them in the catalog.  While they aren't available for customers to purchase just yet, the Blendabilities Markers are great and we want to give you a tutorial so you are ready when you are able to order them.

Supplies Needed:
*Whisper White Cardstock
*Momento Ink Pad - Tuxedo Black
*Blendabilities Markers
*Outline Image Stamp

For my card today I am using the Blended Bloom Stamp.

Step 1: Start with the darkest shade of Daffodil Delight.  Color part of the middle of the flower.  Each set of Blendabilites comes with 3 markers (except the skin tones which comes with 6).

Step 2:  Add a little of the middle shade next to the darkest and color (circular motions) over the line where the two color meet until you no longer see the line.

Step 3: And in the lightest shade and use a circular motion to blend all of the colors together (keep coloring until you see the line between colors disappear)!

Step 4: I also start with the darkest Rich Razzelberry first and add a little bit of the color to around the middle of the flower.

Then I also add the color to a few more petals.

Step 5: Add a little bit of the middle shade.

Then take the time to blend the color so that you don't see a line separating them.

Step 6: Add in the lightest shade of Rich Razzelberry.  Then take the time to blend the colors together, color with circular motions until all of the lines between the colors are gone!

And here is my card for today...
