Take it UP a Notch with Darla

Hello everyone Darla here from Stampin w Darla and Sisters. So excited this is my first individual post for SSInkspiration! I love being a part of this design team! I have made some awesome new stampin friends!

I wanted to share how you can simple take your card to the next level.

I started out choosing my colors I wanted to use by using the Color Coach. I knew I wanted to use the Delicate Doilies stamp set for my cards. I started out stamping the images on a 3 3/4 by 5 peice of Whisper White cardstock.

This first picture is just showing you that I have stamped the two cards exactly the same.

Then using the Square Lattice Embossing Folder I put my peice of stamped images in the folder. I ran it through my Big Shot.

Here is what the peices know look like after running through the folder.

I hope you can see the one on the left is the one that I ran through the folder. Just that added step gave my card that texture I wanted.

Here are my finished cards after putting the rest of the pieces together. This is a better picture of the what the texture looks like.

So, next time you want to step it up to the next level get out your embossing folder and use your Big Shot.

Supplies used are:
Stamp set- Delicate Doilies and Six-Sided Sampler
Cardstock- Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive and Tempting Turquiose
Ink- Tangerine Tango
Accessories- Big Shot, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Starburst Framelet Dies, Brights Candy Dots, Ticket Duo Builder Punch, 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon Pumpkin Pie, Dimensionals
