Advent Calendar

Hello Happy Stamper!!
Donna here, from Organized Chaos, just wanted to let you in on a super awesome secret.....

ha!  As if you didn't know :)

Last month we made these super cute Advent (Christmas Countdown) boxes and I have been dying to show them to you!

EEK!  Don't you just love it?!  These were a SNAP! to make and my kids just love having a little treat box to open and see what is inside.  We write a fun activity on a piece of paper for each day of the month.  It is super doesn't love a surprise piece of candy every now and again!?

What makes this a simple project you ask??

(or you could also make these 2x2 boxes with the Box Punch Board!!!)

**For this example I also used the
Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack

These are really the only things you will need to get started.  Get that package of treat boxes you bought and haven't used yet...grab any of the punches you love, some ribbon scraps, and a few embellishments...and these can be made as simple or as difficult as you want.

I just LOVE the colors in this DSP pack!  Who knew Pistachio Pudding and Garden Green could play so well together?!

For the nineteen, I sponged craft ink into the circle that I had punched out of a scrap piece of paper.  Super quick and easy.
The 25 is my favorite!!  Its definitely Christmas when you get to this shining star!!

Don't worry if you don't have all the same punches or inks.   Any of our Christmas paper you have laying around would look great on these boxes, and at 2x2 inches...they make using scraps a breeze!

Now I know what you're thinking..."December has already started, so thanks for telling us this NOW Donna"  But I'm here to tell you that you can personalize these in so many ways beyond Christmas!

Think about this.....Wouldn't these make GREAT birthday countdown boxes?!  (if you have littles at home, you can totally appreciate how they get so antsy leading up to their birthday)  What a great way to let them look forward to their special day...without driving you crazy by asking how many more days!  Or a Vacation countdown, going on a special trip?  Maybe to the great Mouse House in the south?  Getting married?  There's a box for that....The possibilities are endless.

Thanks for stopping by!  I hope you love counting down to Christmas (and everything else!) with me.
