Heat & Stick Powder + Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with Seasonally Scattered

Hi Stampers! Heidi at Stuck on Stampin' here today to share with you a picture tutorial of how to create a dazzling effect to your cards using Heat & Stick Powder with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter. I thought I would start out with an up close view of the image that I used this technique with (from the set Seasonally Scattered). I tried to get in as close I could without it being super blurry. This is one of those techniques where it is even more amazing in real life.

You will need:
Versamark
Your choice of ink
Sponge Daubers (if you are going to use more than one color)
Stamp
Heating Tool (oops...not pictured!)
Whisper White cardstock

Ink your stamp using Versamark. This helps make the stamp extra "sticky".

Using the lightest color, ink your stamp over Versamark.

Using sponge daubers, daub different colors of ink on the rubber image.

Sprinkle stamped image with Heat & Stick Powder. Shake off excess.

Using a Heat Tool, heat the image with powder until it just turns glossy (don't overheat!). The powder will turn into glue.

Immediately after, sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds Glitter over the stamped image. Shake off excess.

Heat it again to set it.

I really wish I could photograph the sparkle better!
