Papillon Potpourri

Hi Stampers!! It's me, Heidi Boos from Stuck on Stampin' and I'm so excited to being sharing with you today! As my individual post for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration, I chose to showcase the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and coordinating punch. One reason is because I LOVE making cards with butterflies!! The other reason is because for another 15 days (promotion ends September 31, 2013) you can purchase the Papillon Potpourri stamp set and Bitty Butterfly punch as a bundle and get 15% off! Be sure to visit your Stampin' Up! demo to order yours today!

Also, if you want a little more inspiration, Breelin Renwick, another one of our fabulous designers, shared some of her creations earlier this month using this bundle, as well. Check them out HERE!

Wood Mount - #135312, $29.67 (save $5.23!)

To help inspire you and show why this bundle is a must on your wish list, I have put together a sampling of cards for you!

Clean and simple with a touch of rhinestones!

Stamp Sets
Papillon Potpourri, Petite Pairs
Ink
Primrose Petals, Summer Starfruit, Smoky Slate
Paper
Whisper White
Accessories
SNAIL Adhesive, Rhinestone Accents
Tools
Stamp-A-Ma-Jig

Tone on tone using Pistachio Pudding & Versamark!

I stamped the solid butterfly image with Versamark to create a shadow behind each of the popped up butterflies. The flower is also stamped in Versamark to continue the soft look.

Stamp Sets
Papillon Potpourri, Chalk Talk, Fabulous Florets
Ink
Pistachio Pudding, Versamark, Smoky Slate
Paper
Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding
Accessories
SNAIL Adhesive, Dimensionals
Tools
Stamp-A-Ma-Jig, 1-1/4” Circle Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch

This card used only the Bitty Butterfly punch...and a few other tools!

Love that the butterflies are "dancing" off the page.

Stamp Sets
Papillon Potpourri, For You
Ink
Versamark
Paper
Basic Gray, Basic Black, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
Accessories
SNAIL Adhesive, Dimensionals, White Embossing Powder, Daffodil Delight Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Rhinestone Accents
Tools
1-1/4” Scallop Circle Punch, 1” Circle Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Heat Embossing Tool

I went with a clean and simple look for this particular card. I added three score lines from the Simply Scored Tool on the left of the card to take away too much white space.

I was a little generous with my bitty pearls and added three on each butterfly. Looks so pretty in person, but probably not something I can do at one of my card nights. That is 15 pearls per card!

Completed the sentiment on the inside...

Stamp Sets
Papillon Potpourri, One in a Million
Ink
Daffodil Delight, Primrose Petals, Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay
Paper
Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
Accessories
SNAIL Adhesive, Dimensionals, Pearl Accents
Tools
Bitty Butterfly Punch, Simply Scored Tool

I hope you enjoyed my sampling of cards for you today. I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit!

We would love for you to come on back tomorrow to see what Darcy will be sharing with us!

  2. You are simply amazing! I love all of your cards but my favorite is the gray and yellow card! I often forget about those tiny scallop punches that I have!!!
