Stampin' With Cynthia!

Good morning, Cynthia here from Ink a Doodle Creations.  Today for my special project, I wanted to share with you the wall hanging calendar I created using the Stampin' Up! Simply Created Kit.

This kit is so awesome, cause it comes from everything you need to create and put this calendar together.

Now doesn't all these yummy supplies just make you want to dive in and play?!  My finished pages used only what was included in the kit and nothing outside except for ink choices and my own adhesives.  The kit doesn't come with enough twines to decorate quite like the instructions show, so I had to get creative.

January, February and March.  Now the best part is, is that you don't really have to be crafy at all.  The kit comes with a sheet of instructions and gives you ideas on how to create each page.  I kinda followed it at first, then I started movin' along at my own pace and started changing things up a bit to suite what theme I wanted each month to be.  Now **NOTE**, there is no room for mess ups, as the kit only comes with 12 pages, so if you are wanting to make this a 12 month calendar like I did, plan and be careful.

April, May and June.

July, August and September

October, November and December

Now in the end, if you decide you don't want to keep it for yourself (not sure why you wouldn't) but, you can always use the box the supplies come in and turn it into a fancy nancy gift box, using the included ribbon and tag, and give it to someone as a gift!  You know, maybe that person or friend you know, who always forgets your Birthday.  Well, maybe even go ahead and fill in some of those important dates for her (with yours highlighted in bright yellow!!)

I have my finished calendar hanging in my kitchen, filled in already with everyone's birthdays, so its visible and right there so I don't forget!  All pretty and awesome like too I might add!!  I just drove a nail thru the wall and hung it from the clip hole.  I will also add, that after you add the twines and decorates the pages will bulk up, so in the end, I couldn't fit all 12 pages.  I divided mine up and hung just 4 months at a time.

I hope you have enjoyed my finished project with added tips for today.  Leave me some "love" and don't forget to come back tomorrow and see what the design team has been up to!!
