Good Morning Happy Stampers!!
I cannot tell you how happy we are to have you here today!
Don't you just LOVE that summer is just around the corner? Do you know what I think of when I think of summer..
Pinwheels!!
In the garden...in parades...EVERYWHERE!!
I just love how people display them!
These just pop up everywhere!
Easiest way to do a pinwheel you ask?
Start with a square piece of paper.... This is a 2inch by 2inch piece
Mark the center with a pierce with your piercing tool..then cut a slit from corner to middle, leaving about 1/4 inch of space... (don't mind my manicure...I'm a total nail biter!)
(I marked on the spaces where you cut and where you will pierce.)
This works on ALL size of squares!!
Then what you're going to want to do is take the first piece of the square, (I always start with the bottom left piece) and I add a brad to hold the hole piece together. Pick a dot, put the brad on the OUTSIDE of the dot, and fold (gently) into the center hole.
You'll see how all the pieces end up in the center. left over right works ... or right over left.
Voila!!
Wanna see a cute card that Jennifer G. made also?!

The best part about about making pinwheels is that you can add ANYTHING!! to your card to make it fantastic!!
Want to see your pinwheel spin?!
Put a sequin in between the brad and the paper, and another one after the paper. There will be enough room for your pinwheel to actually spin on your card since the sequin on the bottom will be what you attach to the paper. :)
Let us see your creations!!
