Washi Tape Back to College Ideas

Hello everyone, Tonya here from Stampin' With Tonya. So many of you  are sending kids back to school right now and that is also the case in our house but we are also adding a college student into the mix. My daughter is all ready started college for the year but before she went I was trying to think of a fun was to decorate her room. Then it hit me, why not use Washi Tape! I will admit I don't use mine nearly as much as I should but one of the advantages of Washi Tape is that is isn't permanent. So if she gets tired of the items we can just redo them with new Washi Tape patterns and you can add it to walls, furniture and so much more. I have shared just a few ideas but there are so many more, why not get  your Washi Tape out and find a fun way to create with it today. I would love to hear from you!

Washi Tape Cork Board. For this project I used 6x6 cork squares and the Washi Tape. I started with one piece and after getting the design I wanted I laid the next blank piece on top and lined the tape up with the tape below. No measuring this way or worrying about getting the angels correct.

Another item I decided to make is to cover Binder Clips that you can use for pictures or to hold papers together. The picture in the clip above it actually I picture of my kids from my oldest son's 8th grade graduation so consider it my #tbt

Every girl needs a place to keep notes and this notebook I found at a local store is a great canvas for a Washi Tape design. I used two different collections of Washi Tape the first is from the Everyday Adventures Project Life Accessory Pack and the Epic Day Designer Washi Tape.
My final project is a simple spaghetti jar that I upcycled to set on a desk to hold pens, change or whatever my daughter needs to put in it. I used the Washi Tape again, I added Calypso Coral Chevron Ribbon around the top to finish it off and cover the ridges that are on the top of the jar.
You can pin any of the ideas with the easy Pin It buttons beside each picture. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day! Tonya

    1. Thanks Kim! I don't use it as often as I should but I do enjoy playing with it.
