Four Pocket Folder

Good Tuesday morning, Cynthia here from Ink A Doodle Creations!  I am excited to be sharing a special project for you today with Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration!

My new stamp club started this month and one of the fun things I wanted to do for each of my members was to make a cute holder so it could hold some info. about the club.  I also wanted it sized to go inside of a handbag.  Below is the finished project that I created.  I call it a "4 Way Pocket Folder!"  I am so laughing right now, cause if you knew the inside joke about me trying to come up with a name for this project, you'd be laughing right now with me, Bahaha, LOL!!!
The outside all close up...

but when its opened, this is what you see.  I have inside a thank you for joining note with details about the club, their new reward club card, four "wish list" sheets and a schedule of when all our club dates are for the whole year.

Now I made this for my club members, but this project could be used in other ways.  I had made one of these last year and gave it to my mother-in-law.  Inside I mounted 4 different photos of my kids/family.  She keeps it in her handbag as her "grandkid brag book"!!

Follow the simple instructions below, to create one of your own.

Cut a piece of DSP to measure 6" x 12".
Score at 3", 6" and 9".

Rotate your DSP and score at 2"

Once you have decided on what side will be the inside, fold up the 2" scored section.  This will then give you four pockets to slide things inside of.  I folded down each end corner to form a triangle.  That's it, your done!  Now decorate the inside and outside as you wish.  I also created a belly band to slide over once it was folded shut.

I hope you have enjoyed my project and will go create one of your own!

Supplies Used:
DSP:  Sweet Sorbet
Stamp Set:  Petal Parade
Cardstock:  pool party, summer starfruit, whisper white, crisp cantaloupe, black
Ink:  summer starfruit, pool party
Punches:  scalloped circle, 1-1/4" and a 1-3/8" circle punch
