In-Color Cards Gift Box

Hi Stampers! I hope you are enjoying the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration blog as much as I am! What fun projects and cards that have been shared already. I'm so excited for what more is in store. Today, I get the pleasure of sharing with you a fun project that I think is perfect for gift giving!

My inspiration started with the adorable new Decorative Window Gift Boxes (only $4.95 for 6!). These can be found in the 2013 Holiday Catalog. I love that little "peek through" window so much! When I first saw these, I thought they would be the perfect fit for 3x3 cards. The size of the box is actually 4x4, so there is even a little extra room to give.

I decided I wanted to put together some quick and easy 3x3 cards using the 2013-2015 In-Colors which I absolutely love! (Baked Brown Sugar, Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, and Crisp Cantaloupe) I also really wanted to stick with one stamp set to complete the card, so of course I reached for one of my new favorites Gorgeous Grunge! When my 7-year old daughter saw this stamp set that I had received at Convention she said to me, "Mom, that's not really your style." She's right...it isn't normally what I would reach for, but I am really digging it!

{Getting ready to mass produce}

I stamped!

I punched!

I started to assemble...

...and, then I got stopped with "mommy duties" and soccer practice, so I put a little kit together for on the go! I used one of our new full wood mount boxes (#127551 / $6.95 for 4) and brought all my supplies with me to soccer practice. I assembled my cards right there in my lap while I chatted with some of the other moms. Gotta love the power of multi-tasking!

I finished each of the cards off with a "hello" and "thank you" stamp using Black Stazon ink and the Four You stamp set. The butterflies are mounted with Stampin' Dimensionals to pop off the page.

 Inside the box are 10 cards and envelopes.

I am a sucker for "less is more", so I simply lined the top of the box with Strawberry Slush ruffle trim ribbon (attaching it with Sticky Strip) and then I added a matching butterfly with a "for you" banner attached. Don't you just love how the card inside peeks through the top? I didn't want to cover that up!

I hope I was able to help inspire you to get some of your favorite ink colors out and start stamping! We would love to hear from you, so feel free to leave a comment! And be sure to come back tomorrow for Framelits Friday...you won't want to miss it!
